The Liberty Belle  16 Sep 2006

On Sept. 16, 2006, I was at the Lowe's Motor Speedway enjoying the semi-annual Autofair (pictures here). While looking up, I happened to see a B-17 flying overhead... what a surprise!   This historic World War II aircraft is owned by the Liberty Foundation and tours thoughout the country. On this day, it was stationed at Concord Regional Airport in Concord, NC, only a few miles from the Lowes Motor Speedway. Although I didn't get a chance to fly in her that day, I was able to capture a few pictures and video clips.
